Consumers in with a chance to win cash prize when they sell their mobiles

mopay.co.uk puts £1,000 cash prize up for grabs!

Leading online mobile phone trade in service mopay.co.uk has announced this week that it is going to payout £1,000 in cash to a lucky customer in its ‘mopay cash giveaway’ prize draw.

The winner of the prize will be drawn at random during Christmas week on December 21st and the cash will be hand delivered straight to the winner’s door presented by models featured recently in the mopay.co.uk TV commercial.

The promotion will start October 26th running hand-in-hand with a new free courier service available when 5 or more handsets are traded at once which has been enforced with immediate effect to help prepare for the Christmas post rush and avoid payment delays to customers trading their phones as a result of the Royal Mail postal strikes.

“Sales and Marketing Director Simon Walsh said: “we hope that our £1,000 cash giveaway will help make somebody’s Christmas that extra special this year. Every phone traded and received between October 26th and December 13th will be assigned a prize draw ticket that will be entered into our draw. A winner will be picked at random on December 21st. mopay.co.uk will have been active for four years at the end of December and it’s a great way to celebrate that by rewarding one of our many loyal customers.”

Concluding, Walsh commented on the free courier service by saying “we reviewed our free courier service which historically was on ten or more handsets and decided to lower it to five as we have seen an increase recently in bulk trades on our site. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service on orders below five handsets because of cost implications however we’re working with the Royal Mail to ensure that those orders are returned to us as quickly as possible until the strikes are resolved. We advise customers to take BACS as a payment option over cheque payments during this period.
